Pronto Xi 710 adds hundreds of innovations and improvements to help customers multiply their business success
28 May 2013: Australian technology company, Pronto Software, has today put the power of business intelligence and real-time reporting at the fingertips of Australian businesses, enabling better and faster decision-making with its flagship business management software.
‘Business Intelligence for everyone, everywhere’ is the mantra for the newly released Pronto Xi 710, with customers set to benefit from access to a much broader selection of built-in reporting tools that provide a real-time view of their operations. Pronto Xi Business Intelligence now provides a greater choice of options to view and consume information – on smart phones and tablets or within Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
“By listening to requests from our customers and partners around the world, Pronto has adapted its business management software with hundreds of improvements to deliver more, better and faster access to the information that reveals the critical insights required to improve business performance,” said David Jackman, Pronto’s Managing Director.
“Pronto Xi presents this information in a way that is both meaningful and actionable at all levels in a business, from the CEO to the marketing team, and from the head of product development to the warehouse manager.”
In this latest release, Pronto has made significant updates to its core business management software, now providing growing companies - particularly those in the mining and services sectors, and others seeking international or US expansion - with easier access to multiple currency reporting, including Functional Currency.
For retailers, Pronto strengthens their ‘retail value chain’ with new features for store allocations, group trading, wholesale, and retail promotions, to drive ongoing profit growth and superior customer experience, while also enabling greater flexibility for online retail and franchising.
For businesses reliant on distribution and supply chain driven operations, Pronto’s statistical forecasting and wave picking features deliver the tools to enable much more strategic planning to supply and support the changing demands of this sector.
Faced with commodities production heading overseas, Pronto is supporting Australian manufacturers with its new Engineer to Order module, allowing them to more easily shift their focus towards producing increasingly specialised, high-value made-to-order products. This is a fast growing sector for Pronto’s customers.
Additionally, Pronto has enabled a range of new tools that meets the rapidly changing needs of the rental (furniture, appliance and equipment) sector. Now worth $2billion, the rental market in Australia is evolving quickly, as businesses identify new lines of revenue across sectors as diverse as construction machinery, office equipment, car sharing and home appliances.
According to Jackman, “Business of all sizes are quickly realising the power of integrated ERP software and business intelligence for successful business management. With Pronto Xi 710, we’re taking an incremental step up in the enterprise software market, where we now regularly win new customers and retain growing customers against competition from the big global software brands.”
Later this year, the company will announce a further series of major technology, software and feature updates, building on the momentum achieved with the release of Pronto Xi 710.
Pronto Xi 710 marks a major shift for the company as it continues its expansion across international markets and new vertical sectors, underpinned by a rapidly expanding research and development (R&D) capability and services business. Over the past three years, Pronto has achieved annual double-digit revenue and profit growth, and has made a range of senior appointments to bolster growth in Australia, North America and across sectors that offer opportunities for the business to evolve.
At the heart of Pronto’s business is the business of its customers. Pronto is proud to support many mid-market and enterprise businesses including Funtastic, The Co-op, Wallace Bishop, Officemax, Parragon Publishing, Nike (via Retail Prodigy Group) and Hirotec.
