About the position

Pronto Software is a leading ERP software company. We are looking for a highly capable Iteration Manager/ Scrum Master.

This role will focus on Agile principles including the following requirements Iteration Manager and Agile Scrum Master responsibilities.The role will include mentoring and assisting cross-functional resources through planning, execution and delivery of projects within a time-boxed SCRUM framework. You will also take our Product Managers portfolio vision and converts them into technical requirements for project teams to break down.

  • Support one or more Scrum Teams as the Scrum Master.
  • Drive one or more Scrum Teams as the Iteration Manager
  • Guiding the teams and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum best practices and values.
  • Partner with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management
  • Lead the planning of product releases and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Understanding and knowledge of ERP or business software development.
  • Understanding of the ERP or business market, the stakeholders, and the roadmap for the product
  • Managing competing business and stakeholder demands and liaising with management to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with Product Management to deliver on product vision.
  • As an Iteration Manager regularly prioritise and focus on delivering customer value and building product for the long term.

About you

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience working as Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager in a technology environment.
  • Solid Agile experience in the software industry.
  • Understanding of software development technologies including operating systems, database platforms, client/server environments, source control and software development platforms.
  • A clear understanding of how to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise work independently.
  • Knowledge and background in ERP solutions.
  • Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business risks.
  • Use intuition to understand the needs of stakeholders and be able to communicate effectively with different personality types.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams.
