Where you’d be working:

This role is part of our Development group located in Forest Hill VIC and is responsible for designing and deploying Pronto Xi ERP enterprise solutions.

 

What you’d be doing:

The focus of this role is to design and deliver a wide variety of BI solutions to Pronto Software customers. You will use your extensive business operational knowledge, an understanding of Business reporting needs and Pronto Xi or ERP experience to:

• Develop and maintain robust BI solutions to Pronto Software’s clients
• Build solutions that enhance the clients’ use of Pronto Xi
• Input to the development of new product BI solutions
• Undertake software development tasks including coding, writing technical specifications, testing, code reviews and release management.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to other Developers.

About you

We’re looking for new Senior Developer who has: 

• Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a Cognos BI Development role
• A relevant tertiary qualification (or 4-5+ years’ experience in Cognos BI Development)
• Expertise in Cognos System Administration & Configuration
• Experience with Cognos Framework Manager (FM) Modelling and Reporting
• Experience with Java and the Cognos SDK tools
• Experience in SQL and Database Relationship Knowledge
• Knowledge/Exposure to Datawarehouse and Data Lake
• Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Experience with ERP systems
• Problem-solving and analysis skills
