AI data security

Ensuring security and data protection protocols is our top priority when utilising artificial intelligence. Therefore, our technological tools implement the following security measures:

  • Our AI solutions are hosted on Pronto Cloud and include strict access controls, authorisation, encryption (in transit and at rest), and data isolation to prevent unauthorised access
  • The data is not used to train shared or public models. Machine learning models are customer specific, and they are isolated and handled in a secure, tenant-specific environment to prevent cross-contamination
  • Only the data required for AI processing (such as text inputs, metadata, or specific information) is shared, and customer data is used strictly within the scope of the AI features provided
  • Pronto Software has invested directly in AI computing power (GPU’s) in Pronto Cloud so we can create a highly secure environment for AI capability

Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, is a common method where models are trained on data to automatically improve their performance on a specific task without being explicitly programmed for every possible scenario. The performance improves as they are exposed to more data.

These foundational AI concepts enable the intelligent features being integrated into modern ERP systems.
