Pronto Software has a long history of carrying out business in an ethical and responsible manner – this includes positively contributing to local communities and charities. All staff donations to a recognised charitable institution are matched by the business – and this leads to a strong mix of incredible causes being supported.
Over the years, corporate initiatives have seen the team contribute money and time towards the inspirational efforts of charities such as Room to Read, Variety Children’s Charity, Beyond Blue, Alzheimer’s Australia, Cancer Council, St Vincent de Paul, Movember, RSPCA, Wildlife Victoria and Children First Foundation. Every call for support is an opportunity to make a difference.
On 23 July, Marie Longworth, Alison Burns, Annette Arndt & Dana Collier from Pronto Software Queensland, NT & PNG Branch participated in the 2021 Brisbane Coastrek 30km event to raise much needed funds for Beyond Blue.
The Pronto Software Brisbane team had a special fund raising morning tea for the 2021 Purple Day – an initiative from Epilepsy Action Australia. Efforts like this help raise awareness and funds for initiatives such as the Epilepsy Helpline.
To show support and raise awareness for cancer research, Hiranya Sirimanna, who works in the Melbourne branch, has cut her beautiful, long ponytail as part of a brave effort to raise funds for Cancer Council Victoria.
Peter Hoek from Pronto Software Brisbane took part in the 2021 Cancer Cruise – a new activity that has raised over $90,000 in a single day for cancer research. In Queensland, the drive started in Albion and finished in beautiful Bunjurgen.
