Where you’d be working:

Our Reseller Manager role will be based in our Forest Hill office, as part of the Products and Partners team.

 

What you’d be doing (your day will look like this):  

The primary focus of this role is to develop, grow, and manage Pronto Software’s reseller channel. The Reseller Manager will build strong partnerships with key stakeholders—both internally and externally—to drive sales performance, align partner offerings with customer needs, and ensure resellers are equipped to effectively position and sell Pronto solutions. Our Reseller Manager will also lead the Reseller team.

The Reseller Manager is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing value-added resellers (VARs) and channel partners who sell Pronto Software solutions by:

  • Identifying, recruiting and onboarding new resellers aligned with Pronto Software’s business strategy and growth objectives.
  • Developing and managing strong, ongoing relationships with reseller partners to drive engagement and sales.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to reseller account management.
  • Preparing detailed partner business cases, including market opportunity, onboarding costs, enablement requirements, and projected sales performance.
  • Negotiating partnership agreements within Pronto Software’s commercial guidelines.
  • Delivering enablement plans to equip resellers with the tools, training, and support required to succeed.
  • Responsible for driving reseller team (and team member’s) success and managing direct reports including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations and other HR responsibilities.
  • Tracking and reporting on reseller performance metrics, including revenue, pipeline, and partner activity.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Product and Support to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of partner-related initiatives.
  • Managing partner escalations and issues to resolution.

About you

We’re looking for a new Reseller Manager who has:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a partner or reseller management role in the software or technology industry (ERP experience preferred).
  • Solid understanding of software sales processes, partner/channel dynamics, and business development.
    Commerciality with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to partner and customer success.

  • A current driver’s license and vehicle as travel to sites is required.
