Where you’d be working:
Our Analyst Programmers are based in North Ryde working with NSW customers remotely and on-site.

What you’d be doing (your day will look like this): 

Your business analysis, technical design and coding skills together with experience in ERP Software development will assist you in this role. Using your knowledge of business processes, following our implementation methodology in addressing specific functional needs of our customers, our Analyst Programmers are responsible for:

  • Working with customers to understand their needs and turn requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Designing, coding, testing, documenting and implementing secure, maintainable software changes and enhancements.
  • Supporting solution design, programming and consulting activities with customers and internal teams.
  • Keeping technical documentation and application change records clear, current and useful.
  • Taking ownership of assigned work items and following them through to successful completion.
  • Developing test plans and completing unit testing to support quality outcomes.
  • Troubleshooting issues, sharing technical guidance and helping the team solve problems.
  • Contributing to planning, team meetings, scrums and project delivery activities.
  • Using modern development practices, including version control, code reviews, CI/CD and DevOps where relevant.
  • Using AI and LLM tools responsibly while maintaining data privacy, security and quality.

About you

We’re looking for an Analyst Programmer who has:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Business/Commerce or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in software development and business application programming.
  • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases.
  • An understanding of procedural or object-oriented programming and the software development lifecycle, including Agile.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, REST, JSON/XML and secure data handling.
  • Experience using version control, such as Git, and awareness of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to Pronto Xi, Pronto 4GL or other ERP systems would be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Clear communication, good time management and strong attention to detail.
  • The confidence to work independently, along with the willingness to collaborate and share ideas with the team.
