Hirotec is a designer, installer and maintainer of mechanical, electrical, fire and energy solutions. The business is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated technical services, with customers in the education, health, utilities, transport, arts and recreation sectors.
Over 10 years ago, Hirotec recognised the opportunity to better meet the needs of its customers through empowering service technicians with mobile devices. To achieve this, Hirotec required a more sophisticated and capable IT system to support this vision and assist the business on a strong growth trajectory. Their existing IT environment however was quite fragmented – the system was built on old architecture with disparate databases. This made it difficult to use across its branch offices.
