Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth across Queensland. This role demands a seasoned professional with a “hunter” mentality – someone energised by prospecting, strategic outreach, and securing new business opportunities.
This Business Development Manager role is part of our QLD Branch team based in our Brisbane office.
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue untapped market opportunities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive new client acquisition
- Navigate complex sales cycles with precision and efficiency
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers across varied industries
- Collaborate with internal teams to architect tailored ERP solutions
- Report on pipeline performance, market shifts, and emerging trend
About you
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a high-performing BDM in the ERP software domain
- Strong strategic thinking and prospecting ability—can open doors and ignite conversations
- Experience in managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Autonomous and self-motivated, energised by goals and achieving targets
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
- Comfortable interfacing with senior leadership
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years in a business development role focused on software or technology solutions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a work-ready vehicle
- Current passport with flexibility for interstate and international travel
- Ability to pass a mandatory Police Check
- Must have a current driver’s license, own vehicle and current passport available for work purposes with the ability to travel interstate and overseas if required
