Where you’d be working:

This BI Technical Consultant role will be based in our Sydney office with travel interstate (and potentially overseas) required at times.

 

What you’d be doing (your day will look like this):  

Your experience in implementing BI software solutions into a range of industries will assist you in this role:

• Manage, design and deploy BI projects on the Microsoft SQL Server and Azure platforms
• Develop business relationships with customers
• Manage time, billings and customers to maximise revenue opportunities
• Identify BI consulting opportunities with our customers
• Provide technical assistance to other consultants in the Team
• Assist with coaching other consultants within the group
• Write functional specifications for proposed software enhancements for BI Solutions

About you

We’re looking for a new Business Intelligence Technical Consultant who has:

• Strong business consulting skills with technical expertise building Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
• Strong ability to design solutions to meet with client’s business requirements
• Competent project management skills
• Well-developed prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to integrate with the team to deliver to plan and timelines.
• Enthusiasm and a desire to make an impact within a consulting environment

To enjoy being a Pronto Software Employee you’d need to have: 

• Relevant Degree or Business Discipline
• Demonstrated experience in implementing BI software solutions into a range of industries
• Experience with the Microsoft suite of BI solutions – Analysis Services and Azure Product Stack
• Experience with IBM Cognos suite of BI solutions (not essential)
• Experience with ERP software
• Understanding of the elements of business management reports and operational report requirements
• An understanding of software development lifecycle
• An understanding of Industry Standard KPI’s
• A current driver’s license as travel to customer sites is required
• A passport as potential interstate and international travel may be required
